Acacia Cove Mixed-use Development

B&L (ESL) was contracted by Grand Acres Limited, to provide consultancy services for preliminary and detailed engineering design, tender documentation/ administration and construction supervision for a mixed-use development infrastructure, located at Kariunga in Nanyuki, Laikipia County. The infrastructure to be designed comprised of internal roads network, drainage, Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) for waste water management, streetlighting, power and ICT infrastructure, water reticulation and storage facilities

• Review of existing structure plans and layouts;
• Geotechnical and Topographical survey;
• Geometric and Pavement design of internal road circulation, parking lots and non-motorized transport facilities;
• Structural design of the gate-house and perimeter wall;
• Drainage analysis and design of associated pipe and box culverts.
• Design of portable water storage tank and reticulation system;
• Design of sewer system and treatment work;
• Design for power and ICT infrastructure including transformer, streetlights, ICT cabling etc.
• Preparation of tender documents and administration of tender process
• Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA) and Liaison with relevant authorities/KeNHA for approval of the TIA report
• Contract Management/ Construction supervision
