Traffic Impact Assessment and Parking Review for Yaya Centre Mixed-use Development

B&L (ESL) was contracted by Bussem Limited (the Client) to undertake a comprehensive Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA) and Review of parking for the proposed expansion of Yaya Centre Mixed-use Development in Kilimani, and provide the Client with accurate traffic data to support the capacity and locations of the mall’s access and exit points, as well as to support the capacity of the internal parking arrangement.

The assignment involved review of the existing architectural plans, topographical survey, Traffic Impact Assessment and engineering design of access lanes. The scope also involved a review of the proposed expansion of the abutting Ring Road Kilimani and Argwings Kodhek Road and liaison with KURA approval of TIA report and proposed access.
