Traffic Impact Assessment for Capital Centre.

B&L (ESL) was contracted by Modways Investments Limited (the Client) to undertake a comprehensive Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA) for Capital Centre Mall along A8 Road in Nairobi, and provide the Client with accurate traffic data to support the capacity and locations of the mall’s access and exit points, as well as to support the capacity of the internal road circulation.

The assignment involved review of the existing plans, topographical survey and engineering design of deceleration lanes at the entrance and acceleration lane at the exits points to the mall. The scope also involved preparation of requisite TIA report and application for approval by KeNHA of the proposed deceleration and acceleration lanes.
