Proposed Renovations of a Private Residence in Muthaiga

B&L (ESL) was contracted by Symbion (K) Ltd (Project Architects) on behalf of the Client to undertake a Structural Assessment of an existing 2 storey residential house. The scope also includes the structural design of the proposed architectural renovations to the house which included amendments to the roof, demolitions and provision of additional utilities like solar heating, solar power and potable water treatment

• Review of existing architectural plans and layouts.
• Review of geotechnical investigations.
• Structural Survey and assessment of the existing structure.
• Structural design of the revised roof, water treatment plant room, water tank bearers and strengthening of structural elements to meet code requirements.
