Proposed Apartment Block in Karura Kanyungu

B&L (ESL) was contracted by the Client to provide civil/structural engineering and MEP design services for her proposed apartment located in Karura Kanyungu in Kiambu County. The scope of the consultancy services comprised of engineering design from inception stage, schematic design stage, detailed design, production of tender information, construction monitoring through periodic site visits and support through the defects liability period.

The project team was led by an architect separately appointed by the client

• Review of existing architectural plans and layouts;
• Geotechnical and Topographical survey;
• Structural design of the apartment and elevated steel water tank;
• Design of sewer system and treatment work;
• Drainage and earthwork design;
• Geometric and Pavement design for the driveway and car park;
• Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing design;
• Contract Management/Construction supervision.
